Aaaah, it's time for the requisite opener. There's always so much pressure with the opening blog, so it may not live up to the hype, but I'll give it a try. I'm using this blog as a forum to write about my life as a Midwesterner. Yes, that's right, I will admit to the fact that I heart the Midwest. Sure, I love to visit exotic locations, opposite coasts, even head up to Canada, but there's nothing quite like the fuzzy Midwestern border....even though I still can't find much to love about Ohio (sorry, you're chunky and my timing belt snapped on my car with you!).
I will also probably be writing about my other loves, which will be contained in my vital stats:
- Sarah - age: young twentysomethingish
- Married to Dan (2 years!)
- occupation: teacher at a high school in Chi-town.
- recent transplant to Chicago (going on 4th year!)
- no kids yet, but one dog: Ernie, the wonder mutt! :)
- loves: trivia nights, dogs, running, dance, books, crime shows, eclectic music tastes (but heavy on the guitar)
